Abstract
Two cases of Pulmonary Candidiasis were found without any precipitating factors. It's
clinical course was similar with ordinary bacterial pneumonia but the duration was
longer and satisfactorly treated with oral mycos latin and discontinuation of antibiotics.
Many authers recommnend amphotericin B in candidiasis treatment, unfortunately we
could not use it because of it's severe side effect.
The diagnosis of primary pulmonary candidiasis is difficult in practice. A contamination
of normal flora should be ruled out from regular sputum examination. There were many
methods of getting pathologic organisms from lesson with lesser contamination utah as
bronchoscopy, bronchial aspiration with catheter and lung biopsy. But we could not.
